“Docs” is a custom post type there to create new document or wiki.
And in “Docs” section there are also “Categories”, those will show at homepage as you see in demo ( http://themes.wpeden.com/wphowto/ ).
The rest options in homepage you can configure from Admin Menu >> Appearances >> Theme Options >> Homepage Tab. There you can chose category for quick faq. But you need to create some categories from Docs >> Categories.
