please download the theme again, we released v2.0.4 just now with a custom homepage fix. you don’t need to delete or edit any file 🙂
After update, create a new page and select page template = homepage ( personal ), then from Admin Menu >> Settings >> Reading , as marketed in the following image: https://www.diigo.com/item/image/2uqj/6gd2
