Hello,
could you pls let me know how to show only parent categories in the post form? We got a lot of child categories and the select category list in the form gets way too long!

Furthermore, is it possible to limit category selection ONLY to one category? As it is now, the plugin gives the possibility to select multiple ones.

It is possible to show only parent category, but requires some code changes in post form code. We will add that feature in our next update ( within next week ).
