Will you ever give us the ability to add links in the visual mode within the Rich Text Editor module? I can do this behind the scenes, in text view, but my clients won’t have the skill level to do this themselves. Thank you.

Please update your MIniMax. Latest version has fixed the link button issue in RichText editor.

How do I upgrade? I don’t have an ‘update now’ link in the WordPress Plugin menu. Thank you.

I guess you have to delete the whole plugin in order to upgrade, right? Okay … I upgraded to version 3.0.8 and I am able to link within the Rich Text editor, when I’m in a page or post. However, the link function does NOT work when you use the Rich Text editor in a widget. I select the text, click on the link button, and nothing happens. It’s still not working when you are using it in a widget. Also, when using the Rich Text editor in a widget, you can ONLY use it in the Text mode, NOT the Visual mode. In fact, NONE of the button work when using Rich Text editor in a widget. Can you please fix this? I would really like to keep using this plugin, but I need a RT editor that works everywhere.

MiniMax modules are designed to work with MiniMax builder. So, you have to use RichText ( and other modules ) with builder.

I don’t understand your answer…. Are you saying that the rich text editor CAN’T be used in widgets? What other modules in MiniMax don’t work in Widgets? Thank you.

We don’t ensure that minimax modules are independent widgets. Modules are built for MiniMax Layout Builder and integrated with it. So, you should use modules with MiniMax builder, not in widgets area.
