ParticipantHello,
Sorry to put this request here, but I can’t access the Private Message support forum, it reports –
“Access Restricted! Only Support key Owners have access to this page!”
Please can you give me access to that forum and move this support request there please?
The Problem –> When a user receives an e-mail notification from the Private Message plugin, the sender’s e-mail address is the main administrative e-mail address for the WordPress site. This means users reply to the e-mail and the replies end up in “my inbox.” I’d like to request 2 additional features to the plugin please:
1) I’d like a template for the e-mail notification, so the member knows it’s just a notification and they shouldn’t reply to the ne-mail. I’d like to be able to set my own text, but something like this would be ideal:
“You’ve received a private message from John Doe. Your message is included below, but please login to http://www.thewebsite.com to reply:
———————————————————————————————————————
Hi Frank,It’s John here, please call me as soon as you can.
Regards,
John.
———————————————————————————————————————
** Please don’t reply to this e-mail.2) Automatically set the e-mail notifications “sender/reply to” address to the author’s e-mail address (if it exists).
Are both of these possible?
Regards,
Craig.
